GA-20-01 Camden Marianna 30'   Gone GONE John Houstown McIntosh built a large rectangular house on brick piers between 1811 and 1821. At the end of each rectangle he built an octagon wing, 1 story high and 30 feet in diameter. The house was demolished sometime between 1860 and 1870.
GA-22-01 Carroll Temple     06-2002 approximate N33 40.75 W84 59.98 SSE of Temple. GA113 S. 3.3 miles from jct with US78 in Temple E. on Hickory Level Rd. 1.4 miles to the village of Hickory Level. E.H. Dorough, 12-sided, central silo, cement foundation, almost completely deteriorated.
GA-25-01 Chatham Savannah     ?   Modern octagon house, built on stilts because of high tides. It is on Tybee Island, next to the lighthouse, at the end of US80, off the coast at Savannah.

GA-61-01 Gilmer Ellijay     ?   Octagon log house. Modern log house built as a display model for a construction company.

GA-78-01 Jackson Jefferson   1913 05-2000 N34 08.94 W83 31.28 NE of Jefferson. GA15 NE 3.2 miles from jct with GA82 in Jefferson to the barn on the S. side of the road. Mark & Imogene Roncadori, true round barn, red vertical siding, 2-pitch conical roof, no cupola, excellent condition. Converted to a furniture store in 1964, now a mattress store. [www.bestbeds.com]
GA-97-01 Madison Danielsville     ?   Modern octagon house on GA98 E. of town.
GA-99-01 Meriweather Alvaton     ?   Round house with a porch all the way around. Near the Alvaton covered bridge.
GA-106-01 Muscogee Columbus   1840 ?   In Columbus. At 527 1st Av. Octagon house, acquired by Leander May about 1860 and he rebuilt it into an octagon form. It was once called "Mays Folly".
GA-108-01 Oconee Athens   ca1830 05-2007 N33 57.61 W83 23.11 In Athens. Prince Av. SE 1.8 miles from jct with US29 in Athens, W. (sharp right) on Hill St. 200' to the house on the S. side of the road at 175. House given to General Cobb in 1844 by his father-in-law, Joseph H. Lumpkin, as a wedding gift. He then added an octagon wing on each side in the 1850s. Moved to Stone Mountain in the 1980s, and back to Athens in 2003 & restored.
GA-119-01 Rabun Clayton     ?   Octagon house located in Clayton and known as "The Octagon House". It is a 2-story frame with a flat-pitched roof and a high cupola.

GA-136-01 Thomas Thomasville     ?   A large historic octagon house located in town. It is known as the Lapham-Patterson house. Has lots of "gingerbread".
GA-154-01 White Cleveland     ?   Round apartment house along US129 E. of town. Mountain Top Apartments.
