How wonderful that the Ohio Office of Tourism told me of your website. I will certainly plan to use your sites before all future vacations

I regret to inform you but the Moscow Covered Bridge of Moscow, Indiana was totally destroyed by a tornado last evening, June 3, 2008. Along with many homes and other historical buildings in and near Moscow. There were some injuries but the extent of those are unknown at this time. I live 1 1/2 miles from this bridge and am sadden by it's passing. It faithfully served the community for 122 years. It will be sorely missed.

Thank you for such a great page. A friend of mine gave me 2 pictures of her uncle's barns and from that I found your page. I belong to the Sibley County, Minnesota Historical Society and I will give this information to them also.

Thank you, John

My Grandfather was Herbert Risum. Owner of the Risum Round Barn near Brodhead & Orfordville Wisconsin. I played in that barn as a youngster. I wish I'd have taken a bunch of pictures in those days. Your picture is most excellent.

We are in the process of helping, Dennis Tice, of the Bedford County, Pennsylvania Visitors Bureau, with a website with all the covered bridges in the USA. I scanned over 3000 photos of Covered bridges and sent them to him for the site. It is not complete yet but should be a nice site when it is completed. The photos of the Bridges in the Southern states are all our photos and hope to get more to him in the future. Do enjoy your site and use it when we travel.
21 June 2007 - Will send some of the photos of Bridges in Europe to you.

Thanks for all the information on finding the Covered Bridges and Round Barns. We now have photos of over 800 Covered Bridges here in the States and froma recent trip to Europe we got over 170 in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. I print all of your information off the computer and when we travel we have the directions to the Bridges & Barns. Will send some of our photos one of these times. Thanks Bob & Dorothy

Very nice collection of pictures. I enjoy touring the countryside here in my home state Ohio, and have visited some of these places. BTW, the bridge north of Wingett Run that was destroyed, is being rebuilt.
I myself enjoy photographing old derelict houses and buildings.
